The ATA Girls - Interviews
“How Time Flies” had their blessing

During the development of the story and in writing the novel Rhubarbs and Circuses, Sally Winter spent time with two of the remaining few ATA Girl survivors, sadly now deceased, to hear their experiences in their own words and to refine details for technical accuracy. It is Sally’s strong desire to have their stories shown to a wider audience and to achieve belated widespread recognition for their brave contribution to the war effort all those years ago. These grand ladies recently left us at the ages of 94 and 101 and will be unable to enjoy the enthusiasm of this project.
